Crisis and Resilience Fund
We are working with Suffolk County Council to help you check whether you are eligible for the Crisis and Resilience Fund (CRF) and support you with your application.
Are you eligible?
To apply, you must:
- Live in Suffolk
- Be aged 16 or over
- Be experiencing financial hardship
- Have a combined household income of £30,000 a year or less
- Have less than £1,500 in household savings
- If you are aged 66 or over, the savings limit is £6,000
- Not have received an award from the Local Welfare Assistance Scheme (LWAS) since 1 April 2026
Please note: The LWAS team will check your previous awards when your application is reviewed. Only one award is permitted per household.
What can the fund help with?
If your application is successful, support may be available towards:
- Food costs
- Essential white goods
- Energy bills
- Transport-related costs
