The Met Office has issued a red warning because of Storm Eunice. As a result, our office and our outreach at Eye Library are closed. If you have a need advice then please contact us via the form on our website. Then, we will get back to you when we are next open. We expect this to be on Monday.
The Met Office expect:
- Flying debris resulting in danger to life
- Damage to buildings and homes, with roofs blown off and power lines brought down
- Roads, bridges and railway lines closed, with delays and cancellations to bus, train, ferry services and flights
- Power cuts affecting other services, such as mobile phone coverage
The Met Office have advice on travelling in a storm and staying safe. Check it out and stay safe!

- If you see damaged power lines and they are posing a risk then dial 999. If you don’t think there is a risk then report the damage by calling 150.
