Could you be our new Community Officer?
As a local charity, Citizens Advice Mid Suffolk is focused on serving the community. It’s important for us to have positive relationships with a range of organisations and individuals. In this role you would be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key partners. You will attend local community meetings to represent the charity. By delivering talks to local groups, you will promote the work of Citizens Advice Mid Suffolk. You will use input from stakeholder and public engagement to develop projects that reach people in need. You will be responsible for preparing and submitting grant applications to generate income for the organisation in a very competitive marketplace. Mid Suffolk is a very rural district, so it will be important to be aware of the needs of rural communities.
The role is part time (18 hours per week) and is offered on a 12-month fixed term contract.
