Citizens Advice Mid Suffolk are recruiting for a Community Adviser who will be responsible for ensuring that people in the Eye and the North East part of Mid Suffolk can access advice.
We are looking for an experienced Adviser, ideally with Citizens Advice training, and with good IT skills. The project plan requires you deliver face-to-face advice appointments within an outreach setting on Fridays. Reporting to the Advice Services Manager, you will be able to work with minimal supervision. You will also be responsible for promoting the outreach to ensure that take up of the service is maximised by local residents. The role will also involve engagement with key stakeholders within the local community who want to support the delivery of a successful advice service to develop the project plan to best meet community needs.
The role is part time (6 hours per week) and is offered on a 12-month fixed term contract.
