Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Council have created the Household Support Fund to help people experiencing immediate financial hardship.
They are offering support in the following ways:
- Support with energy bills for any form of fuel that is used for the purpose of domestic heating, cooking or lighting, including oil or portable gas cylinders
- Support with food, including through vouchers
- Support with other essential needs, including other bills, clothing, furniture, essential transport related costs, school uniform and school equipment
