HRH The Princess Royal will open our New Advice Centre

Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal, who is patron of national Citizens Advice will visit the new offices on Thursday 26th May, where she will be shown around the facilities, meet volunteers and observe a telephone session in progress.

Citizens Advice Mid Suffolk Manager Carol Eagles said “We are very fortunate to have the Princess Royal as our national patron and to be able to welcome her in person to our offices.” “Her support for the work of the Citizens Advice service is greatly appreciated and we are delighted she is joining us to thank our team of volunteers and paid staff for all their hard work and dedication, and to celebrate and our new accomodation that will enable us to provide free, independent advice to the residents and workers of Mid Suffolk.”

The Mid Suffolk branch began in 1981 at its offices in Milton Road, they now help resolve more than 10,000 issues per year.
